What are your submission rules?

We accept:

• Short and feature films and documentaries in 1080p HD or higher resolution.

By submitting your film, take note that:

• Entry fees are non-refundable.

• Multiple entries are allowed for each filmmaker and each entry may be entered in multiple categories.

• Submissions must be in English OR have English subtitles if they are in another language.

• Entrants confirm and warrant required legal authority to submit the entry to the festival and to use all music, images, and content in the entry.

• All films and documentaries submitted are reviewed by the Bombshell Movie Awards screening committee.

• The Bombshell Movie Awards is hereby granted the right to utilize an excerpt from any film submitted and accepted for exhibition on our site for promotional purposes. The individual or corporation submitting the film hereby warrants that it is authorized to commit the film for review, and understands and accepts these requirements and regulations. The Competition reserves the right to refuse entries. The undersigned shall indemnify and hold harmless Bombshell Movie Awards from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney’s fees, and costs of the court) which may be incurred by reason of any claim involving copyright, trademark, credits, publicity, screening, and loss of or damage to the screening videos entered. Entries will not be returned.

We do not accept:

• Amateur videos

• Extremist or propaganda content from religious or political organizations

• Films involving politics / films promoting political agenda

• Films with a poor production standard (bad sound, lack of subtitles/captions for non-English films, video resolution less than 720p HD.

When will we be notified if we have been selected?

The Notification Date for all films selected by the Bombshell Movie Awards is Friday, December 2.

When we will be notified if we’ve been nominated for awards?

All nominees will be announced on Friday, December 16. You can find the list of nominees on this website or on our Instagram account @bombshellmovieawards. Best of luck!

When will we know if we’ve won any of the awards?

Our awards presentation is Thursday, January 19 @ 8:00pm at the Boom Boom Room and is located at 1229 Washington Ave, St. Louis, MO 63103. If you’re attending our event, you’ll find during the show if you’ve won or not. If you can’t attend, we will also be live streaming the show so you can share it with your friends and family and find out live. Otherwise, we will be giving everyone their winner status through FilmFreeway, and this website, after the show concludes. Good luck everyone!

How can we watch the live stream?

A live stream link will be posted on this website in the weeks leading up to the event on January 19. You’ll be able to go to that link to watch the show live!

Will there be a red carpet area for pictures at the event?

Yes! We will have a red carpet runner and backdrop set up at the Boom Boom Room so everyone can get their photos taken before the event starts. If you want pictures taken, you should come to the venue early at 6:30pm.
